Big On Birthdays Stampin' Up! Stamp Set - Stepping up Cards

Today I want to show you how a card can be "Stepped Up" and go from simple, quick and easy to more complex and involved in three steps. The beauty of this process is that it can take you from beginner levels to more experienced card creator.

Here is the first card which includes the basic supplies:

This card has a Kraft Card Stock base with a single matt attached with the snail adhesive.  The sentiment is stamped on Crumb Cake yardstick using Soft Suede Stampin' Pad and is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Quick and easy!  Here are the supplies needed:

Here is the second card in the series.  It uses all of the supplies listed above plus two more added (shown below the card). The background has been straightened and the Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon and Rhinestones have been added to step it up and requires a little more time and effort.

This is the final card in the series also requiring all of the supplies listed above.  It's a little more complex, requires more supplies and takes a bit longer to create. A second background piece has been added as well as a piece of Burlap ribbon tied with a piece of linen thread.  Lastly, a die cut piece of card stock has been added as well as a few rhinestones.  Below are the additional supplies needed:
